EMINENT WRITER, PROF. CHINUA ACHEBE PASSES ON

Eminent Nigerian writer, Prof Chinua Achebe has reportedly passed on. He died last night in a US-based hospital after a brief illness.

Until his death, the award-winning novelist was the Professor of Africana Studies at Brown University. He was aged 82.
