PASTOR EA ADEBOYE, OMOTOLA JALADE, PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN, OTHERS MAKE NIGERIA MOST POPULOUS COUNTRY ON FACEBOOK IN SUB SAHARAN AFRICA

Pastor E.A. Adeboye, Actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, President Goodluck Jonathan, GTB, MTN, Airtel are some of the brands and important figures who have made Nigeria the most populous country on facebook in Sub Saharan Africa.

With more than 11million users, Nigeria has now surpassed South Africa who used to dominate the list with their 9.4 million users.

Over 66% of Nigerians on Facebook are male, over 5.6 million of both male and female users are under the age of 25. Egypt still retains the number one spot in Africa with over 16.8 million users.
