Multiple award -winning singer, Tuface Idibia deserves a national honour at the moment(pun intended). Like the biblical good Samaritan, the African Queen crooner recently saved the life of a police officer who was shot and left to die by a roadside.
That fateful night 2face and a close friend had left Nu-Grotto club around 3am and was heading to a particular hotel at Ikoyi when they sighted a man lying down by the roadside, the duo alighted and on closer observation discovered he was a policeman who was writhing in pains, having been shot in the hand, stomach and leg. They quickly rushed him to the Reddington Hospital also located in Victoria Island. "I have a card here", he told one of the staff who appeared uncooperative. Recalling his ordeal with armed robbers in 2007, 2face was rushed to that same hospital.
The policeman, identified as Corporal Ganiu is in stable condition and has since been transferred to the Military Hospital, Ikoyi for further treatment.
