Former Super Eagles skipper and Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Football Ambassador, Kanu Nwankwo has expressed his delight on his recent appointment as a Board of Trusties (BOT) member of the Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON).
Speaking on his passion to help raise the next stream of national team stars, he said that, "I have always had a passion to help develop future talent – the next Jay Jay Okocha, Kanu or Ikpeba; and the only way to do this is to catch them young. There are a lot of talents in the country we only need to discover and nurture them and there is no other way than to start at the grassroots level. That is why I'm very happy to become a member of the BOT of YSFON where I hope to use my experience to help out."
