Former Super Eagles midfielder, Thompson Oliha, has been confirmed dead. The Kwara Football Academy (KFA) head coach reportedly slumped in the toilet and died after he was rushed to the hospital.

The incumbent Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi has described the death of the sport star as a personal loss, adding that he was a great and disciplined player who loved the nation.

Oliha was part of the Super Eagles team that won the Tunisia 1994 tournament. He was aged 44.
