NEW HUMANITARIAN AWARD FOR ANGELINA JOLIE

Hollywood actress, Angelina Jolie has been involved in so many notable humanitarian work around the world and now she's about to be recognized for it.
The film director is going to receive the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award courtesy the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The screenwriter's portfolio is quite wide; she travels widely to promote, organisations, social justice efforts, worked for many advocacy groups like the Council on Foreign Relations, was part of the envoy for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in 2012. The list goes on and on.

Past recipients of the award include Oprah Winfrey, Jerry Lewis, Arthur Miller, Quincy Jones, Paul Newman, Elizabeth Taylor to mention a few.
