Two months after turning down a £38m offer from Chinese club, Shanghai SIPG, Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo has committed his future to Watford FC.  The Super Eagles forward signed a 5 year-deal with the English club today. The 27 year-old scored 17 goals in 42 appearances in the 2015/2016 Premier League campaign.

Brazilian striker, Hulk's recent $60m move from Zenit St Petersburg to Shanghai SIPG has been dubbed the most expensive signing in Asian football.  The new transfer record surpassed the $56 million Jiangsu Suning made for Brazilian Alex Teixeira and the $47 million Guangzhou Evergrande paid for Colombia's Jackson Martinez. 


The ex Porto player who passed a medical examination at a Shanghai clinic on Wednesday and will reportedly be paid an annual salary of $22 million, double of what fellow countryman, Neymar earns at Barcelona.
