Andrés Iniesta (Spain, FC Barcelona), Lionel Messi (Argentina, FC Barcelona), and Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal, Real Madrid CF) have been shortlisted for the 2011/2012 UEFA Best Player in Europe Award.

Though launched last year, the award ceremony will take place on 30 August in Monaco and the outright winner will be chosen via an electronic system.
