Being Manchester United Manager for 26 years is a huge feat and erecting a statute is the least thing they could do to honour Sir Alex Ferguson. Once again, very well deserved.

The nine-foot bronze statue was made by renowned sculptor Philip Jackson and positioned in a prominent position near the entrance to the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand.

key figures present at the unveiling ceremony include Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie, Eric Cantona, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Peter Schmeichel amongst others.
