About 11 robbers reportedly invaded the house of Super Eagles striker, Ahmed Ahmed Musa in Jos, made away with valuables and injured his mum in the process.
The CSKA Moscow Forward who is presently camped with other Super Eagles members in Calabar for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier match against Malawi on Saturday however suspects they were kidnappers.
"Armed robbers came to my house in Jos around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday night. When they entered, the men started searching everywhere for my wife and son who had travelled earlier to Kano.
"When their search turned up empty, they beat up my mother, people in the house and the security men, and went away with valuables. After they left, my mother was rushed to the hospital but she's back home now. The doctors say she's fine. " He told Premium Times.
