Barcelona Forward, Lionel Messi has nabbed his third Golden shoe award for being the top league scorer (46 goals) in Europe for the 2012-2013 season.
As usual, the currently injured player whilst receiving the award acknowledged the input of his Barca teammates.
"I am really pleased. It is a really beautiful prize. It is a recognition of the (Barcelona) dressing room and of all that the team has been doing all year," he stated. The Argentine is also the first player ever to win three Golden Shoe
awards. He won it 2010, 2012 and 2013.
