Manchester United reportedly asked Mourinho to replace Van Gaal in the summer of 2017

Now or Never?

An update in the Jose Mourinho- Manchester United plot. According to renowned Sports Journalist, Duncan Castles, Manchester United have asked Jose Mourinho to take up the managerial role in the summer of 2017 but the Portuguese who has been out of job since December 2015  reportedly turned it down implying that he can't wait a year to take over.

"Manchester United have asked Jose Mourinho to replace Van Gaal as manager. In the summer of 2017. Unsurprisingly, Mourinho is not interested in waiting an additional year to return to management." Duncan wrote on Twitter.

Whatever the case, Louis Van Gaal's exit will be a breath of fresh air to Manchester United fans.
