4-time Grammy award winning singer, India Arie is coming to Nigeria and yes we are so excited about it. The 41 year-old songwriter, would be headlining the 5th edition of the esteemed Jazz concert, Sax Appeal founded by Saxophone heavyweight, Mike Aremu.
Arguably the biggest Jazz concert in Africa, the 2016 edition has been scheduled to hold at the Eko Hotel & suites, Lagos Nigeria on 26th June, 2016, other featured performers are Timi Dakolo and Praiz.
India Arie, born India Arie Simpson has sold over 3.3 million copies in the United States and 10 million copies worldwide. The Video and I’m Not My Hair crooner, has won 4 Grammy awards from 21 nominations, including a record 7 nominations at the 2002 edition of the award ceremony. She has also clinched two BET awards and released six albums from 2001 till date, including the Voyage To India, Acoustic Soul and Christmas With Friends released last year 2015.
