Argentine star, Lionel Messi has called time on his international career following his side's loss to Chile at last night's Copa America final. The 29-year-old who was very distraught after losing a penalty during the penalty shoot-out. This news comes after Argentina recorded their third loss in a major final since 2014.
"For me the national team is over. I've done all I can, it hurts not to be a champion. It's been four finals, it's not meant for me. I tried. It was the thing I wanted the most, but I couldn't get it, so I think it's over." He said during a post-match interview.
