The sixth edition of the Best of Nollywood awards (BON) will be held at the city of Port Harcourt, Rivers State; organizers have announced. Slated for Saturday October 4th 2014, the event which will gather thespians from different sections of the Nigerian movie industry has risen to become the most prestigious and transparent Award ceremony for nollywood practitioners.
" It is a great honour to have this prestigious award platform in Port-harcourt a year after hosting the nominees dinner." Governor Amaechi noted
Speaking on the choice of the South-South state, Seun Oloketuyi, Executive Director disclosed that the state has produced some of the best brains in Nollywood, " Asides Port Harcourt being one of the most beautiful cities in Africa, the Governor, Rotimi Amaechi has also provided an enabling environment for tourism and Nollywood." He added.
