Genevieve Nnaji, Don Jazzy, Davido, Iyanya, Peter Psquare have joined other high-profile figures worldwide in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. You must have seen pictures and videos of celebrities pouring buckets of icewater over their heads recently. It started in America and the aim is to raise as much money as possible for charity; for the Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis ( ALS ) Association to be specific.
ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease and Motor Neurone Disease, is a disease that attacks the spinal cord and can lead to speech difficulties, muscle spasms and even paralysis. It affects an estimated 30,000 people in the US and 5,000 in the UK.
Celebrities who have also taken the challenge include Bill Gates, Lionel Messi, David Beckham, David Luiz, Anderson, Pique, Shakira, Emmanuel Adebayor to mention a few.

There's no point asking who rocked what better since they all wear the same design. MTN ambassador and rave of the moment artiste, Iyanya has launched a new Non Governmental organization called, 'The Iyanya Foundation'. It's the Kukere crooner's way of giving back to the society and supporting the less privileged in the society.
Iyanya who lost his parents and only sibling years back shared the news on his Instagram page. "Our drive is to help and establish as many orphans and less privileged ones on the street. More on this foundation will be communicated through the media later".

The lucrative deal believed to be worth $220,000 comes with a 2014 Prado Jeep. If I'm not mistaken, he now has a total of three endorsement deals; MTN, Zinox and then this. The one year deal with Zinox Computers is worth $350,000.00

Few weeks after Yaw had the premiere of his new TV sitcom called – 'Yaw's n' Myn', at the Silverbird Cinemas, the producer and actor has actor is out with another creative programme.
Titled 'The Bar', the 2-man play which also stars Funke Akindele-Oloyede will be staged at Muson Center, Onikan on 6th March, 2013. Billed to be present at the show are top music acts like Iyanya, MI as well as comedians.
According to Yaw, the play is not your conventional comedy show but, it's more of a 'satire. "I believe a satire should be like a rubber sword. It doesn't pierce like a real sword would; but the person it touches will definitely feel the impact.
The audience should expect twists and turns in the performances, suggestive innuendos and plenty of meanings in between the lines of the script. But they should also expect to laugh, because at the end of the day, it is comedy." He affirmed.
