Going by the 2012 FIFA/Coca Cola World Ranking released recently, Nigeria has dropped from the two places; 43rd position to the 45th while Spain still claims their number 1 spot.
Nigeria now ranks 6th in Africa as against the initial 5th position with Ivory Coast, Ghana, Egypt, Algeria and Senegal ahead.
Other teams which climbed higher in the ranking include Bosnia-Herzegovina (19th, up 1), Panama (47th, up 2), Estonia (52nd, up 5) and Belize (133rd, up 8). Montenegro (50th, up 1) have also returned to the top 50.
