President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Ahmed Idris as the new Accountant General of the Federation.
The appointment was made public by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Danladi Kifasi, through a statement by his Director of Communications, Haruna Imrana in Abuja today.
Until his appointment, the 50 year-old Kano indigene was a Director of Finance and Accounts in the Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel
Development.
