Nigerians celebrate Prof. Attahiru Jega as his tenure ends today.

‎Most Nigerians will never forget the name Prof. Attahiru Muhammadu Jega in a hurry. The highly-principled Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission who helped in repositioning our polity by ensuring free, fair and credible elections is bowing out today.‎

The cool, calm and collected Professor of political science and former vice-chancellor of Bayero University, Kano who assumed office ‎on 8th June 2000 will return to University to continue Teaching/ Research.

Meanwhile tributes have been pouring in via a twitter hashtag #CelebrateJega that has been dedicated in his honour.
