Three months after Guinea celebrated the end of the Ebola outbreak, two new cases have been confirmed. other members of the family are suspected to have recently died from the virus.
The cases were reported in the southern region of Nzerekore. Guinea’s health authorities are tracking more than 800 people who came in contact with the patients. potentially infected in the latest recurrence of Ebola in West Africa.
The Ebola outbreak killed more than 11,300 people in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Nigeria.
