Manchester City defender, Martin Demichelis has been punished by the Football Association for betting rules breach. The Argentina international who moved from Atletico Madrid to England in September 2013 reportedly breached FA Rule E8 concerning 29 bets placed on games between January 22 2016 and February 15 2016.
He escaped a ban but he is expected to pay a fine of £22,058. The 35 year-old has also been warned about future conduct.
