Ebonylife  Not a few will forget the elaborate celebration that commemorated her 50th birthday last year at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos. The media modul and CEO, EbonyLife TV, Mo' Abudu added another year to her age on September 13 and opted for a low-key celebration with close friends and family members in her Lagos home. 

Present at the Shindig were ex Governor Rotimi Amaechi, Lanre DaSilva-Ajayi, Adebola Williams, Veronica Ebie-Odeka and lots more. Her flawless makeup was done by Banke Meshida of BMPro.

Accomplished writer/author, Prof. Wole Soyinka; top TV host and CEO, Ebony Life TV, Mo Abudu; Ex Governor of Lagos.State and APC Chieftain Bola Tinubu and many more distinguished guests attended Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi's book launch.


The book which was titled the "Dynamics of Change: The Amaechi Years" was launched yesterday, Thursday 14th May, 2015 at the Civic Center in Lagos.

The outgoing Rivers State Governor while giving his speech at the event mentioned that he knew he was going to be in trouble if APC had lost the presidential poll.


"I knew I was going to be in trouble. Anything that would cause that change not to take place, I was ready to make that sacrifice. The federal government sent out a signal that if they won nobody should let me out of Nigeria from any airport. One day Asiwaju got angry with me. He was very angry. I went to his house with Mallam Nasir El-Rufai and knelt down, saying 'please let's not disagree, let's win first and then we can disagree'. He added.

EbonyLife TV Founder & Moments with Mo host, Mosunmola 'Mo' Abudu made a telling appearance at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos yesterday, September 13, 2014 as men of timbre and calibre, Nigerian celebrities, friends and colleagues rallied round her to celebrate her 50th birthday.
The event also recognized and celebrated exceptional women with awards.

Celebrities at the occasion include MC Basketmouth who entertained guests with his rib-cracking jokes, Dele Momodu, Funke Akindele, Denrele, Tiwa Savage, Gideon Okeke, Dolapo Oni, Lamide Akintobi, Seyi Law, Rita Dominic, Toke Makinwa, Waje, Chidinma, Iyanya, Efya, Nikki Laoye, and many more.
