Patrons of Madhouse, a discount clothing chain got really pissed off after they purchased and discovered an offensive washing instruction on several pairs of beige chinos at their London store.
They didn't stop there. While some took to twitter to express their displeasure others simply laughed it off.
'How dare #Madhouse this is
2012 not 1950s.' One furious woman wrote
'Personally, I think the
"Give it to your woman label" in the Madhouse trousers is funny, and my girlfriend would laugh about it too #relax'
Others believed it was a marketing strategy
Although this has an offensive undertone but it's quite funny too. We attach meanings to things based on our (individual) perceptions.
