One of the slain fuel subsidy removal protesters, Samuel Ademola Abe who was sent to an untimely grave on January 9, 2012 by a trigger-happy policeman was finally laid to rest on March 14th, 2012 at the Atan cemetary, Lagos.
The 28 year-old tailor has been immortalized. Members of the Ifako Ijaiye Local Government erected a monument in his honour and placed it at a strategic location at Ogba, Lagos State. (Very close to where he was brutally murdered).
however, some Ifako Ijaiye Youths while speaking to the Lagos State House of Assembly representative solicited justice (over the matter) on the matter.

May his soul find repose
