Asides the fact that many awards will be rolled out to deserving artistes, a session of the event will be dedicated to honour three key stakeholders in the Nigerian film industry; namely veteran actor Richard Mofe Damijo, ace cinematographer Tunde Kelani and prolific producer/scriptwriter/director, Emem Isong .
According to Miss Onye, Brand Manager, Best of Nollywood Awards, BON has decided to celebrate these duo for their contribution to the development of Nollywood and for helping many to achieve their dreams by providing inspiration and assistance for years .
Out of all the categories open to voting, the Revelation of the year is the most competitive, it features Amanda Ebeye, Seyi Ashekun, Moyo Lawal, Ifeanyi kalu, Tunde owokoniran and Kc Ejelonu.
Other unique categories include the best kiss and Onga best use of food in a Nigerian movie, intending voters however are expected to vote either through shortcode 33070 or through www.bonawards.com
