Celebrity couple, Beyonce and Jay-Z may have to re-consider their decision to launch their range of children's clothing and baby clothing using their daughter's name- Blue Ivy.
The name has reportedly been in use by Victoria Alexandra; a US-based wedding planner since 2009 and protected by the US Patent and Trademark Office.
"My company had been called Blue Ivy since 2009. I came up with the name, and if they had won my business could have been restricted, It was important for me to protect the name of my company. We are very successful as wedding planners and wanted to stay that way. Of course Blue Ivy is a lovely name, but I had to make sure that I would be able to continue using it for my business." She defended.
However, the 32 year-old businesswoman is ready to strike a huge deal with the power couple if they want her to stop trading under the moniker Blu Ivy. She also confirmed to have witnessed a tremendous growth in her business since the birth of the couple's child.lol
