Curtains have not be drawn on the Babasuwe/NDLEA saga. The latest development is that, the Court of Appeal in Lagos, have ordered the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency not to pay the N25million damages awarded to the comic actor.

It would be recalled that the Yoruba actor was detained by the anti-drug agency for 24 days in 2011 on the suspicion that he ingested hard drug. And after he was proved innocent, in March 2012, Justice Yetunde Idowu of Lagos High Court Ikeja ordered the NDLEA to pay a whooping sum of N25m judgement fee to him within 21 days.

However, Babasuwe's lawyer, Bamidele Aturu has stated that they would appeal the ruling.
