Organizers of the Nigerian Student Fashion & Design Week are warming up for a bigger and better event this year. The season two of the fashion event will hold on the 5th& 6th June 2014 at the University of lagos. Produced by BlackNBold Fashion House, Africa Fashion Week London & Mahogany Productions & Events, the NSFDW team has over 20 years of local and international fashion show production experience.
The NSFDW has become one of the most recognized fashion events within the Nigerian fashion industry calendar and it is definitely the fashion insiders' one to watch. The aim of the event is to provide a platform for new and up‐and‐coming designers to showcase to one of the biggest fashion markets in Nigeria, this being the student, young and trendy upwardly mobile young generation. It also affords buyers and the press an opportunity to get an early glimpse of the fashion names of the future.
During the season one which was extremely successful and sold out, organizers worked closely with a large number of brands and partners and developed a number of key partnerships. The event will feature over 48 students/aspiring designers from across Nigeria over a two day period as well as over 30 exhibitors that would be showcasing their creativity.
