Ag. IGP Suleiman Abba was on August 1, announced as the new Inspector General of Police. He formally took over from IGP MD Abubakar who assumed office on the 25th January, 2012. A native of Jigawa state, IGP Abba is a graduate of History and Law from the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Jos.
