The falconets took a step closer to the 2016 FIFA U20 women's world Cup as they took apart their Liberian opponent 7-1 in the second round first leg qualifier played in Monrovia.
Goals from Yetunde Adeboyejo, Amarachi Orijinma and Chiwendu Ihezuo gave the falconets an easy win to the frustration of their opponents. The falconets will head into the second leg slated for two weeks comfortable following the impressive victory.

The winner of the tie will face the winner of Namibia/DR Congo fixture for a slot in the 2016 FIFA U20 women's world Cup. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Papua New Guinea.
