27 year-old Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil has become the most popular German on social media platform, Twitter. The 27 year-old thanked his fans after reaching the 10million followers milestone this week.
"You guys are simply amazing! Thank u for your unbelievable
support – during both good times and bad. #10MioFollowers," He tweeted.
The former Real Madrid player has more followers than both his club Arsenal (6.4m) and the German
national team (1.8m) combined and he is the 11th most popular athlete on Twitter.
