So yesterday, some thoroughly foolish Peruvian fans employed the services of some witch doctors in their country to stop Chile international, Alexis Sanchez from scoring during Peru's World Cup Qualifier vs. Chile yesterday.
Using a tortoise, they chanted incantations on his kit in the hopes that the forward will be slowed to the pace of a tortoise but guess what, the ex Barcelona player didn't only toss the net twice but also provided 2 assists for Chile during their 4-3 victory against Peru.
The 26 year-old also became Chile's 3rd highest goal-scorer for the national team. Suffice it to say he is one of the most respected footballers at the moment.
