Wayne Rooney's 78th minute strike at Anfield didn't only salvage three points for the Red Devil today, it also set a new record for the Manchester United captain.

He has now scored 176 Premier League goals for Manchester United, the most by any one player with a single club in Premier League history.
The previous record was held by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.

Seems the 30 year-old has finally found his form. Netting a total of 5 goals in 4 appearances in 2016.
