Former French player and manager, Paul Le Guen who is reportedly going to take the reins as head coach of the Nigeria national team has been offered a salary of around $44,000 a month, owngoalnigeria.com  confirmed.

A member of the Technical Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation hinted that the ex Cameroon coach would earn twice the salary of the last two Super Eagles coaches; Sunday Oliseh and the late Stephen Keshi. Both coaches earned $21,000 a month
“Le Guen is not an indigenous coach and it’s only normal that expatriates earn more, it’s a common practice, for instance Roy Hodgson until his resignation yesterday wasn’t earning what Fabio Capello earned as coach of England” the source added.
