Former Cameroon coach, Paul Le Guen, has rejected the Nigeria Football Federation's offer as technical adviser of the Super Eagles of Nigeria. Recall that the football governing body announced his appointment and that of Salisu Yusuf, the new Chief Coach less than 48 hours ago . Renowned sports pundit, Godwin Enakhena has however listed reasons why the 52 year-old Frenchman is turning down the job.

1) He wasn't a popular choice within the NFF
2) From get go, he was very enthusiastic about leading Nigeria but he has heard and read so much in the last 72 hours about the Super Eagles hot seat that...
3) He wasn't comfortable with the possibility that he would be sacked if he failed to meet the target of qualifying Nigeria for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
4) He wasn't comfortable with a provision stating he must stay in Nigeria.
