‎The hotly anticipated football match between Spanish club, Barcelona and Italian side, Juventus is today. The Champions League game is taking place at Berlin, Germany and needless to say it promises to be an exciting match. 

Although Barcelona are favourites to win the trophy but you know football can be unpredictable. I'm an ardent fan of Barcelona and of course I'm backing them to claim the silverware. Wishing both sides the best of luck.

Bayern Munich coach, Pep Guardiola was visibly pained yesterday after  Barcelona's Lionel Messi caused a stir in the Champions League  match against Bayern last night by scoring two goals and setting up the third for teammate, Neymar.

He praised his team and insisted his men controlled the game well but lost their grip after the visitors' first goal. He also commended the Blaugrana's team efforts but did not acknowledge the brilliance of the man of the match.

" I will not say what I think of Messi. They are not just Leo, Barca are a very good team . They were very solid , in defence and attack . They have great players , Neymar , Luis Suarez . We tried to control the game so that Messi would not participate so much . We were 15 minutes away from a very good
result . ‎"

Bayern would need 4goals to knock their opponents out of the race. The Spaniard ‎who coached the spanish team for over 3 years doubts that his team will turn things around when they meet for the second leg.



"You can turn around a one or two-goal deficit, but three is tough."‎ He added.

Barcelona FC has included an anti-biting clause in Uruguay forward, Luis Suarez's 5-year deal. According to them, the former Liverpool player would lose £3 million should he nibble on another player. Suarez will travel next week to Barcelona for medical tests and to sign his contract.

Though full details are still sketchy but preparations by Spanish club Barcelona to honour one of their outstanding footballers Lionel Messi are in top gear.
The three-time world's best footballer who became the club's all-time top goalscorer when he broke Cesar Rodriguez, (ex Barcelona player)'s 50-year record of 232 goals will be honoured with a tribute before the club's game with Athletic Bilbao today.
According to goal.com, the tribute will be in form of a combined footage of both Rodriguez and Messi.
