The adjudicatory chamber of the Ethics Committee of FIFA yesterday announced that it has banned former vice-president, Jack Warner from football-related activity at both national and international levels for life
The 72-year-old is fighting extradition from Trinidad and Tobago to the United States to face 12 charges of wire fraud, racketeering and money laundering related to the ongoing FIFA corruption scandal. He is also accused of buying the television rights to the 2010 and 2014 World Cup tournaments from FIFA president Sepp Blatter for grossly deflated sums.
