It’s very good that the governor of Ekiti state, Governor Fayose, can take time out from his busy schedule to feed the people of his state, handing out bags of rice and other edibles to the needy as part of his ‘stomach infrastructure’ programme. We all need to eat or we will cease to exist! While his humanitarian efforts, to make sure everybody eats, is highly commendable one ought to point out to the governor that if you feed a man a fish a day you’ll end up feeding him for the rest of his life. Whereas if you teach him how to fish not only will he be able feed himself and his family but others too. Some might say this equates to food- stamps or welfare enjoyed by some in Western nations. But with the current economic climate in Nigeria today it’s an exercise that is neither sustainable nor affordable. Money currently being wasted on the ‘stomach infrastructure’ programme would be better spent on creating employment for the poor he’s currently feeding.

Governor Fayose is an outstanding and outspoken governor in Nigeria and everything he does is commendable. In a country where there is no viable opposition government he has bravely stood up to PMB querying his every policy and move – very few politicians in PDP do this. Recently he took the time and effort to write to the Chinese government to try and block a development loan PMB was trying to negotiate with them. He even went to China himself to try and talk to the government, there, out of helping Nigeria in its dire hour of need.

The Governor and Ekiti state go back a long way to 2003 when he first became governor( and subsequently impeached) to the present day. In the years since he has been at the helm of affairs the state, itself, has barely moved forward. Salaries still remain unpaid, election promises unfulfilled, stories of widespread corruption and election-rigging are still abound.
It’s alright to be a showman if the circumstances are right – feeding the poor, hanging out with market-women, fraternizing with danfo drivers , checking vehicles particulars and admonishing late civil-servants – if you’re an egomaniac, attention seeking person like Donald Trump.

An elected governor of a state is a very busy person and without any doubt I believe the people of Ekiti state would like to see more accountability and less showmanship. Or as the Yorubas would say – ‘ put your home in order first before condemning someone elses’.
It’s alright to criticise the central government (i.e – the Federal Government) if your own house is in order. Charity, they say, begins at home. Progress in the Ekiti state, right now, is rather crawling backwards to the Stone Age rather than forward.

The Office of the Governor of any state is an esteemed position and the incumbent is a servant to the people who voted him into office. It’s a demanding job as the governor is responsible for the well-being of his citizens, upkeep of the state, implementing policies that will benefit the state, not just in the interim but in the future and ensuring there is law and order and accountability. It’s certainly not a platform for one to illegally enrich oneself or become a showman. A governor of a state has to think about the bigger picture instead of resorting to cheap publicity stunts.

So for the aforementioned it’s time to quit the Donald-Trump-Style-Political-Showmanship and get some actual work done! Files must be piling up on his desk by now!

Who knew Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose was a Prophet? Oops! How can we forget so soon? he said he predicted his return to power.
The controversial politician has revealed 20 things Nigerians should expect from President Muhammadu Buhari's administration in 2016.
In a statement personally signed by him , yesterday, he said:

“Fellow Nigerians, I want you to take note of the followings that will unavoidably happen under the Buhari-led government in 2016.”

1. Workers Strike: There will be so much industrial unrest, especially in the first quarter of the year.

2. Subsidy: There will be removal of fuel subsidy and petrol (PMS) will sell over and above N100/litre, leaving the masses in more serious hardship. Product will not be available and long queue in petrol stations will persist throughout the first quarter of 2016 and beyond.

3. Electricity: Power generation will drop to the lowest ebb. Still, Federal Government will increase tariff in 2016.

4. Unemployment: Millions of jobs will be lost in 2016 as against the three million jobs promised by the APC yearly. Most States and Federal Government will retrench workers as evident in the over 2,000 Federal University workers already sacked.

5. Economic Policy: Most private owned middle-class businesses will fold up because of bad economic policies of the Buhari-led government.

6. Devaluation: The Naira will continue to have a free fall which will take it to as low as N320 to one Dollar.

7. Economy: The Buhari-led FG will have no solution to country’s economic problems.

8. Security: Boko Haram will keep spreading and the Shiite Muslims will get more emboldened.

9. Human Rights: Penchant for dictatorship will rise with rampant human rights abuses and disobedience to court orders.

10. Anti-Corruption: Insincerity in the fight against corruption will continue and the fight will not only be selective and political, but targeted more at Southerners.

11. Elections: Attempt to forcefully control any of the South South States of Akwa Ibom, Rivers and Bayelsa by the APC will lead to unprecedented deaths.

12. Economy: Crude oil price will fall to below and about $30 per barrel.

13. Anti-Press Laws: The masses, especially men of the media profession will rise against the FG’s plot to deny Nigerians of their rights to freedom of expression. There will wide condemnations by Nigerians and the International community against President Buhari’s human rights abuses and disobedience to court orders.

14. Polity: Renewed efforts will be made to remove Senator Bukola Saraki as the Senate President; this will not only fail, but will heat the polity.

15. Hardships: Nigerians will experience more hardships. The President himself attested to this (THE SUN newspaper Tuesday, December 15, 2015). This obviously negates the change Nigerians voted for.

16. Elections: Plot by the APC to take control of at least one South South State will lead to death of many people. Particularly, rerun elections in Rivers and Akwa-Ibom States will cause many deaths.

17. Corruption: Halliburton scam may be revisited in 2016.

18. Kogi State: Court will sack Governor-Elect, Yahaya Bello.

19. Bayelsa State: Governor Seriake Dickson will win the supplementary election. Taraba State: Governor Darius Ishaku will be victorious at the Court.

20. Politics: There will be subtle political alignment and realignment before the end of the year ahead of 2019 elections.

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State maintains his false sense of security and invincibility with delusions of grandeur. He avoids looking scared when in fact he’s in panic overdrive. He embalms his face with cosmetic joy when he’s bleeding from inside. He disregards bad news. Dodges the reality.

But lately, joy has been hard to find for the ex-danfo driver and star of Ekitigate. He’s been hounded for his past and for sure his sins would find him out. He hates to embrace humiliations of his ruthless ambition, recklessness, crudeness, and oasis of lies and other despicable atrocities that have become Fayose. It’s no surprise that his ardent loyalists have all deserted him. “Let the fool hang himself,” they seem to be saying.

Reputed for shaking things up and accomplishing nothing, a man of architectural character oddity, with looney tunes coming out of unguarded outbursts these days. Two Sundays ago or so, Fayose called a press conference in Lagos to announce to the world his impending doom in a prophetic declaration. He said the Federal Government headed by President Muhammadu Buhari was plotting to reverse his election victory at the Supreme Court using a phantom military report based on the military inquiry of Ekitigate. He said he was aware that the Buhari administration was after him.

He warned that any attempt by the Buhari administration to remove him from office would be resisted by Ekiti people. In a panic overdrive, Fayose said: “The military panel over last year governorship election in Ekiti State is (a) hatchet job. They have a target, but we are waiting for them. They are after me but I’m prepared for them. I am the governor of Ekiti State, I have history, I have record. Any attempt to invade my state will meet our resistance.”

“The day Buhari singles me out,” boasts Fayose, “his government will crumble. They have attempted to impeach me, they didn’t succeed, they disturbed my swearing-in ceremony and they failed. They now set up a military panel to upturn what the Supreme Court had decided in my favour. We are waiting for them. Any attempt to rob the people of Ekiti State of their mandate will lead to chain of events, the end of which no one could accurately predict.”
He described President Buhari’s war on corruption as vengeance. “After flagrantly disobeying court orders,”says Fayose, “whatever that is done or said by the Buhari-led government concerning Sambo Dasuki will appear vindictive…”
How can any inquiry about Ekitigate exclude Fayose, the star of the famous election rigging video? How can Fayose deny his star role in the biggest election fraud and cover up? Why is Fayose foaming on both sides of his mouth with epilepsy of lies about Buhari’s administration? Who is out to get him? Buhari or Ekitigate?

Fayose, no doubt, is feeling the weight of his guilt. He’s carrying a heavy load of guilt and he’s been weighed down by guilt. Guilty conscience is causing him nightmare. Fayose is like a bank robber whose guilty conscience stopped him from making a quick getaway after a successful bank robbery operation but instead waits for the police to arrive and arrest him.
Fayose had substituted anger for his guilt in Ekitigate and cannot own up to what he did in rigging himself into office. He’s using anger to chastise President Buhari and tries to preempt the looming sword of Damocles on his head. He’s using anger to look good to protect his tattered fragile remnants of self-esteem. This is the basis of his macho behaviour, bullying, and aggression.

Denial, aggression, projection, and blaming President Buhari are Fayose’s defence mechanisms which help him to avoid feeling guilt and shame. Using projection, Fayose blames President Buhari and APC instead of looking at his own part of the problem. As the saying goes, what you resist persists. What Fayose is resisting – arrest, prosecution and punishment – would persist and eventually take place.

Fayose has become the ultimate traitor to both God and the State. He constitutes a counter-kingdom of perversion and disorder. He has become a personification of all forms of deviance and revolt. He demonises opponents as a tool to promote his political agenda and propaganda in order to remain in office. He operates on behalf of the devil’s agency.
The irrefutable fulfillment of Fayose’s prophecy of his own doom does not cause Fayose to rethink and reconsider his raw nerve, abrasive, and egotistically driven behaviour. Rather, Fayose serves up juicy pieces of brisket of pre-emptive nonsensical gibberish of how President Buhari and APC plan to remove him as governor, the gubernatorial office he won through Ekitigate.

History in the strict sense of the word is personal. The annals of centuries gone by are nothing more than individual days sewn together by those who keep the records using their own needle and thread. Fayose is writing his own history with his own needle and thread. When the history of democracy in my beloved Ekiti State is finally written, we’ll have to sift through the charred rubble of our wrecked civilisation etched with sticks into the barren dust brought about by ex-danfo driver, Ayodele Fayose.

Meanwhile, Fayose’s prophecy to meet with his nemesis – the Ekitigate – is lurking in the shadows. There is no escape route. Tic… Tac… Toc… Fayose, they’re coming for you!

The Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to accord him the honour of nominating the candidate to fill the slot of the state in the Federal Executive Council.

Conveying his request via a letter  dated May 31, 2015, Fayose said if the request was granted by the President, he would nominate a competent Ekiti professional for the position.

"Should the request be favourably disposed to, I shall be happy to nominate a worthy and competent professional who can always oblige your excellency and your cabinet the benefit of a second opinion in the serious business of governance." He wrote

He added that his letter was on the strength of the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria section 147 sub (2) and (3) which states that, "Any appointment to the office of the Minister of the government of the Federation shall if the nomination of any such person to such office is confirmed by the Senate, be made by the President.

"Any appointment under sub- section (2) of this section by the President shall be in conformity with the provision of section 15 (3) of this constitution provided that in giving effect to the provision aforesaid, the President shall appoint at least one minister from each state who shall be indigene of such state."

In a sane world, by now Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State would be in Kirikiri federal maximum prison for his principal role in Ekiti election rigging video, aka Ekitigate that propelled him into office for the second time. But sanity hasn't been seen around here – in Nigeria – in some time.

To date, I have written four articles on Fayose. Two of the articles – No! To The Return Of Prodigal Son and Don't Forget  To remember  Ayo Fayose  Is The Message were published March 31, and June 19, 2014 respectively by SaharaReporters.

The two articles contain messages of woes and warnings to Ekiti people on the second coming of Fayose. I warned them of Fayose's irreversible corruption, his affinity for violence, the doom ahead, the disaster that would come like a flood that would leave them in helpless despair and that they would be led away as captives. Today, Ekiti people are silently grinding their teeth in anger, frustration, and regret.

Ekiti State is led by the world's number one fool and monster. Now we have undeniably a new world record holder in the category of the world's most foolish governor of the 21st century. Only a handful beneficiaries of his "stomach infrastructure" may argue against my assessment. But does any one needs a microscope to see that the dude is not just a dumb or a dumber but the dumbest? Certainly not!

In fact, Ekiti people get embarrassed not just by Fayose's filthy diapers but also by what comes out of his mind and mouth. Most Nigerians believe that Fayose is a lunatic. Most would certainly agree with these Nigerians. What is alarmingly disturbing is not how he chooses his words or how he presents himself before the national and international communities, but how deadlier his actions have become since his second coming.

A list of his imprudent utterances and actions would fill an eight gigabyte flash drive. You're all familiar with the story of the Ekiti prodigal son Fayose. But for the sake of not making this a boring article to readers, I'll only mention some of his latest gestapo acts which have turned Ekiti State into ashes.

Fayose had planted the seed of evil in Ekiti well before he assumed office the second time. But now he's blaming the violence and instability in the state on others. By planting evil seed, he was able to create problems that never existed.

The Ekitigate was Fayose's mustard seed of evil that he planted  that has now germinated into  big variegated branches of violence, instability, suffering, poverty, fear, terror, and insecurity of life and property in the state. He shut down the House of Assembly, while the staff are pinning away at home in hunger, sickness, and abject misery.

He deliberately instigated carnage in the state to secure and safeguard his position as governor by using thugs and other mercenaries. These merchants of death disrupted a court hearing instituted by the aggrieved 19 APC legislators against Fayose. The presiding judge was beaten, his clothes torn, court staff ran for dear life, court documents shredded, and pandemonium ensued. Ekiti State was pushed back to Stone Age.

Fayose pretends as if he was not the architect of the state's ongoing darkening an indicative that the bloke is a Big Fool. While other states are making progress, Ekiti State is at a stand still. Fayose was busy creating and recreating a terror regime watering his seeds of evil on a daily basis.

All the 19 members of the APC majority controlled House of Assembly were terrorized.  He denied them of their mandate and replaced them with seven illegitimate PDP legislators and threw the APC legislators at the back of pick up truck as it were, as if they were bandits and sent them into Siberia.

Fayose has successfully subverted the ideas and ideals of democracy in Ekiti by subjugating and imposing his will on the people. He illegally removed the 19 APC legislators including the speaker of the house. He believes as long as he's surrounded with thugs of Okada cyclists, ambassadors of "stomach infrastructure" and other mercenaries of profiteers of misery, he'll continue to rule Ekiti at his pleasure without any semblance of democracy – accountability, transparency, and citizen's rights to freedom and human rights.

Fayose with the help of his mentor and partner in crime, President Goodluck Jonathan, Ado-Ekiti the state capital was under siege. With the collusion of the army and the police, all entrances to the city were closed. No vehicular or human movement was allowed. Schools and businesses were paralyzed.

Fear and terror gripped every one. Residents of the ancient city were literally under house arrest. The judiciary and the house of assembly closed indefinitely. All because he didn't want the APC the majority party in the house to commence impeachment proceedings against him.

The Afe Babalola brokered peace meeting between Fayose and the 19 APC legislators was abruptly canceled by the 19 APC law makers when they were tipped off that Fayose planned to kidnap and even kill them on their way to the campus of Afe Babalola University the venue of the meeting.

Why is Fayose doing all these? It is to satisfy the greed of a heartless monster that he is. Fayose is as brutal as a fire and as wile as a Satan. You only need to review his antecedents of violence, hooliganism, carnage, and terror he created in the state during his first coming.

History will record that Fayose is the world's leading evil governor. It is a matter of time before history is made where Yorubas will be shy to name a child Fayose. That had happened in Germany after the fall of the Nazi regime to the Allied Forces. Germans nowadays decline to adopt the name 'Hitler' mainly due to the horrific atrocities Hitler committed during the Second World War using gas to kill his victims.

There is no shortage of Hitler style in Ekiti State under Fayose. To be fair to Hitler, people with common sense would argue that Hitler was less brutal and less evil than Fayose for two simple reasons: First, Hitler used gas to kill his victims. But Fayose used fire either to inflict much pain to his own people or to conceal his crimes.

I think a death by fire is more painful and dehumanizing than a death by gas. Second, Hitler is bound to the Jews by humanity and blood. In simple terms, Hitler would be less keen to kill his fellow Germans than he would to kill the foreigners such as the Jews. In fact, it was his evil love for Germany being the world's Super Power that led to his death after the extermination of the Jews.

There was no hesitation for Fayose to light the blood of his fellow Ekiti citizens. Fayose is driven by greed, evil, and power. It is his evil ambition to be a governor by any means necessary that pushed his atrocities to actions deemed odd, psychotic and barbaric.

"To err is human …" or so the saying goes. But to repeat those errors is both tragic and unnecessary. Fayose made foolish and naive decisions in his first coming and he failed to learn from them. An old Arab proverb says: "Take heed that your tongue does not cut your throat." Violence, injustice, drunkenness, and greed remain the hallmark of Fayose's decadent way of life.

Many a life ends in ruin because someone else planned it to ruin it for them. But few people plan to ruin their lives. The invitation you choose to accept will determine whether you'll find virtue or vice. A good leader is one whose ears get more use than his or her mouth.

Fayose lacks inner integrity. He has put himself in jeopardy for his own misdeeds. He has chosen the fool's path to self-destruction. He must be prepared to account for his sins at the appropriate time and place.

The plot to stop the impeachment of Ayodele Fayose as Ekiti State Governor took a dramatic dimension today as many PDP loyalists barricaded roads leading to the state Assembly complex.

Their decision to block the roads came after they were informed of the APC members of the state House of Assembly's plans to hold a sitting this morning to begin the Governor's impeachment proceedings.

Ekiti State governor Ayo Fayose has insisted that he hasn't been officially  served any impeachment notice that the news flying over social media and radio/TV do not hold any water.

Fayose during a programme tagged "Meet Your Governor" aired on EKTV, Ekiti Radio, Progress FM and NTA, Ado Ekiti on Monday said he is only being attacked  for supporting President Goodluck but will overcome the troubles.

"I'm like Israel that is in the midst of enemies but will always prevail. Whoever wants to remove me will first have to impeach God. They are doing all these just to get at me because of my support for President Jonathan and I have no regret for supporting the president.

Let me say it again, I have not been served any impeachment notice. The House of Assembly is also on recess and Dr Adewale Omirin is not the speaker of the State House of Assembly.

Omirin is in court, challenging his impeachment and he can't be challenging his impeachment in court and at the same time laying claim to being Speaker," he said.‎

Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose has described the outcome of the presidential election as the will of God and urged Nigerians to embrace it and move on. Coming from a man who had always taunted General Muhammadu Buhari, we all know this is pretty strange.

"The election result is the will of God and Nigerians , and all lovers of peace, progress and development of Nigeria must accept it‎. To me, Nigerians and democracy won. I salute Nigerians, especially the great people of Ekiti state. I salute President Jonathan for laying the most solid foundation for democracy in Nigeria. And I salute Major General Buhari for being a resilience and dogged fighter.

"I urge Nigerians, irrespective of their ethnic, religious and political affiliation to respect the outcome of the election in the interest of peace, progress and development of the country. Nigeria as a country is greater than any individual or group and it is my plea that no one should do anything to rock the boat of peace in the country."‎ He said in a statement ‎

Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti is just one "unstoppable" politician. The target of his vitriolic attack this time around is ex President Olusegun Obasanjo.

He has reacted to the statement the elder statesman made few days back that he had uncovered another plot by the Presidency to hand over to the military if it loses the polls.
Speaking ‎through his Chief Press Secretary, Idowu Adelusi, ‎Fayose said Nigerians need to ask if Obasanjo is the one staging the coup.

"At his age, one would expect that the former President should stop peddling rumours, as this may cause confusion in the polity.
"Being a former military leader and also a retired general, whatever Obasanjo says will carry weight and some people will believe that. Or is it that General Obasanjo has some 'boys' touting the idea of a coup?

"May be he is the person planning one. But whatever the case is, coup making and plotting are no longer in vogue in the world. Anybody thinking along such a line will be swimming against the tide and the consequences are there.

"After he said he has quit politics and publicly tore his Peoples Democratic Party membership card, peace has returned to the PDP. Obasanjo should wait till after the elections when his candidate will be trounced and see how jubilant Nigerians will celebrate the victory for the continuation of democracy.

"After the impending victory of President Jonathan, Obasanjo can leave the country or return to prison in protest. The former President should also do away with the primitive idea that anything or anybody not coming from him is not good.‎

"I advise the former President not to be part of any act that could land him in trouble. He was imprisoned during the Abacha era and a word is enough for the wise."

Segun Fayose, the elder brother to Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose in a recent chat with Nation newspapers reporters appealed to his brother to stop dragging the family name into mud.

The UK-based Accountant said the abuses he has hurled at elders like former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari have really put the family in bad light adding that their father was a gentle and contented Pastor before his demise.

"It is a pity Nigerians are celebrating criminals. I am angry with Nigerians for electing somebody like Ayodele as governor. My children cannot come to Nigeria because of the terrible situation of our country.

"I don't have a relationship with any of our leaders because of their criminality and anybody who says I collected money from  the opposition should step forward to challenge me. Ekiti and Nigeria are bigger than Fayose's name and both names should be protected.

"I don't want anything from anybody, but Ayo should stop insulting and abusing my father's name. As a result of Fayose's attitude, many people believe the Fayose family is rude but it is far from the truth.

"I have spoken to him many times, but he refused to listen. Buhari and Obasanjo are old enough to be his father and I don't know why he should be insulting them.

"I am always sad with the situation of this country. Ayo's arrogance is one of the reasons I said people should not vote for him prior to the Ekiti governorship election. If all I am saying is not true, my six children should die and I should end up in shame.

"Most of us abroad are not happy with the situation of Nigeria. We are sad. When people call me from Ekiti to complain about Ayo, I tell them to forgive the family. People should not see Ayo as an ambassador of our family."
 He stated.

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has for the umpteenth time aired (or in this case penned) his grievances against the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari.

In a statement released by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Fayose urged the one-time President to seek forgiveness from Yorubas as well as Edo and Delta States and not their votes.
"Buhari's coup of 1983 destroyed the South-West and the old Bendel State (now Edo and Delta) as it put an end to the  developmental programmes of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo's Unity Party of Nigeria in the region including Lagos, Oyo, Ogun , Ondo, as well as Bendel States."

"Buhari meted inhuman treatment on Yoruba leaders like Obafemi Awolowo, Chief Adekunle Ajasin, Chief Bisi Onabanjo, Chief Bola Ige, Alhaji Lateef Jakande and the immediate past APC National Chairman, Chief Bisi Akande, all of whom, he said, championed development and good governance in the South-West States."

"If Buhari had not cancelled the Metroline project out of vendetta, transportation problems in Lagos would have been solved permanently.
"The Metroline project would have made life easier and changed the face of transport in Lagos. But Buhari cancelled it and even went ahead to pay compensation to the French company that handled it.  Buhari's action cost Lagosians over $78 million then."

"In Yorubaland, we were enjoying free education and free health before Buhari came. Then, all that was needed to go to primary and secondary schools was school uniform. Drugs were free."

"Apart from free education and free health, the South-West witnessed rapid development. Lagos State University, Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University), Ondo State University (now Ekiti State University), Ondo State Polytechnic (now Rufus Giwa Polytechnic), and several other institutions were established.

"As of 1979, Lagos State had no secretariat. Jakande's government  built the Alausa Secretariat within four years. Ajasin's government built Alagbaka Secretariat in Akure within four years. Even the Lekki-Epe road on which they are now collecting tolls was constructed by Jakande.

"For all that they did for us in Yorubaland, what did Buhari do to Jakande, Ajasin, Bola Ige and Bisi Onabanjo? He jailed them and Bisi Onabanjo came out of prison with health issues that eventually claimed his life."

"What did Buhari do to reward Awolowo whose party gave us free education and free health?  Awolowo's international passport was seized and he was prevented from travelling abroad for medical treatment.  Awolowo died two years after!

"In 1984 that Buhari introduced school fees, thousands of our youths then dropped out of school.
"Therefore, Buhari who truncated the future of many of our people and jailed our leaders who served our land selflessly should be seeking forgiveness from Yoruba people, not votes." He concluded.

Buhari is sick! Buhari isn't fit to rule the nation. Buhari is in the UK for treatment. Buhari isn't back in the country. Buhari has returned.. sigh!

Governor Fayose of Ekiti's interest in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari's case isn't waning anytime soon.

He insisted that the APC is deceiving Nigerians by concealing Buhari's true health status and also added that the latter's return to the country after 10 days in the UK was like a thief in the night.

Below is a statement from his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka

"A man who campaigned for four weeks, speaking for less than one hour in all the rallies put together and needed to rest for 15 days should just stay at home and be playing with his grandchildren rather than struggling to take up a job that he does not have the required mental and physical strength to do.

"They brought in Buhari like a thief in the night and now they want to put Lagosians into more hardships by blocking major roads all in the name of a phoney one-million-man match.

"Why not hold their rally in a designated place instead of embarking on a match that will cause chaos and hardships in the state?"

"APC said Buhari went on working visit to UK while Buhari himself said he went to UK to rest. When asked by press men whether or not he ever visited any hospital in UK, Buhari said: 'What is wrong for me to go the hospital?'

"By this statement from Buhari himself, it is clear that APC and its lying leaders tried to fool Nigerians, lying so brazenly and using fake pictures to authenticate their lies.

"Even though there is nothing wrong in Buhari going for medicare abroad, afterall he should be seeing his doctors more often at his age, it is shameful that APC lied so brazenly trying to cover up the obvious reasons Buhari travelled for 15 days.

"What is wrong is the lies told to defend Buhar's trip to the UK to rest and seek medicare. The fake pictures of Buhari walking the streets of London, the fake Tony Blair picture and the use of pictures taken in Transcop Hilton, Abuja and claming that the pictures were taken in London is the main issue.
"Most importantly, presenting Buhari to us as a superhuman, who can never fall sick is what is wrong and Nigerians are expecting Buhari to apologise for all the lies told in an attempt to cover up the real reasons he (Buhari) travelled secretly to UK."

Anybody who sees Ayo Fayose, the so-called governor of Ekiti State should please beg him to see a psychiatric doctor before it is too late.

From the look of things now, I do not know if the man ever sleeps at all. From the look of things I can say authoritatively that he wakes up in the dead of the night to cry and curse the day General Buhari was born. I am sure he has fallen out with everybody; his siblings and members of his family included because of this Buhari factor.

After robbing former Governor Fayemi of Ekiti State, Fayose has been on top of the world celebrating his so-called victory until the bubble burst.

When the results of the June 21 Ekiti guber elections was made public I remember I told anybody who cared to listen that APC must find out what went wrong before it happens in other APC States.

When the elections shifted to Osun State, APC knew that it had to stand up or PDP will get bolder and repeat the same onslaught. APC took the bull by the horns and the rest is now history.

Now almost seven months after, the sordid story of what took place in Ekiti began to emerge. It took the well-respected online publishing company, Sahara Reporters, to unravel what went wrong in Ekiti State.

Nigeria and the world was shown the audio recording of how Ayo Fayose, Musliu Obanikoro, Chris Ubah, Iyiola Omisore, Police Affairs Minister, Jelili Adesiyan, Brigadier General Momoh and many others conspired to rob former Governor Fayemi at gun point.

Ayo Fayose, Jelili, Obanikoro have since acknowledged their presence at the meeting but still denying the obvious and painful truth that they ordered the police and military personnel around and used them extensively to steal Ekiti State at gun point.

But the worst hit in this criminality and brigandage is the man Ayo Fayose. Never in the history of this country have we seen this type of abuse of the military in a civilian dispensation by a bloody civilian.

Ever since General Buhari emerged the candidate of APC and the events that have followed his emergence, Ayo Fayose has been a ghost of himself.

He fears Buhari more than anything under the sun. Even though Buhari is yet to win the Presidential elections slated for February 14 2015 and now shifted to March 28 2015, Ayo Fayose will not sleep.

He fears even his shadow and even a knock at the door by his siblings, his aides and neighbours. For Ayo Fayose, the fear of Buhari is now the beginning of wisdom. This is the reason he wants General Buhari dead by all means.

Fayose once bought the front pages of the Punch and Sun Newspapers not only to pass a death sentence on Buhari because the man is 72, he used the same medium to mock dead leaders from a section of the country.

Fayose nearly provoked an ethnic war in the country but the situation was managed by leaders across Nigeria who rose in their thousands to condemn Fayose without mincing words. But Fayose will not listen.

Soon Fayose started the campaigns that Buhari is sick. He has been trailing the APC Presidential candidate anywhere he goes.

He has been monitoring the man's movement anywhere he goes. Buhari travelled to London and Fayose followed him to London claiming that GMB has gone for treatment.

Now can't Buhari go for medical check-up like every other Nigerian of his status? Can't Buhari go for treatment just like any other Nigerian of his caliber? What is wrong in anybody going for medical check-up or treatment? When has it become an offence for prominent leaders to go for check-up?

Today in all the papers and everywhere on the internet, the mentally retarded Fayose says, BUHARI CAN NEVER RULE NIGERIA. Now who is Ayo Fayose in Nigeria that will stop candidate Buhari?

Where is his capacity and capability to stop this movement? Who is behind this loose cannon? Who is beating the drum for this naked dancer? Of what meat is Ayo Fayose fed? I know that a million Ayo Fayoses cannot stop Buhari from being sworn in as president in May 29 2015.

I know Fayose is playing to the gallery. I know Fayose is being tormented by his past. Fayose has two murder cases hanging on his neck. Fayose has used thugs to attack a High Court Judge.

Fayose has abused the State Assembly in Ekiti State. Fayose has abused and frustrated the Speaker by using five members of the House to impeach him. Fayose has used five members to screen his Commissioners.

Fayose has passed the 2015 Budget with five members of the House of Assembly out of 26 members. Power has turned Fayose to something else that he no longer thinks.

Soon Fayose will be called to come and give an account of his open criminality and brigandage in Ekiti. Buhari will bring Fayose to judgment in the fullness of time. The world is now seeing why Jonathan must go for Nigeria to breathe fresh air.

Fayose knows that the moment General Buhari wins this election he has to run away from Nigeria. He knows that he is sitting on a stolen mandate. He knows that he needs nobody to advise him on what to do the moment it becomes obvious that Buhari is the next president of Nigeria. A thief runs when nobody is pursuing him.

The obsession here is a sharp contrast to the one we are all used to. The obsession The Buhari Support Organisation (BSO) is actually talking about is the negative type.

Director of Media and Information Technology of the BSO, Dr. Chidia Maduekwe has reacted to Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose's claim that Buhari is medically unfit to rule Nigeria.

He said:‎ "The Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayo Fayose, is suffering from what we call in medicine obsessive compulsive disorder, based on an appetite and a wish to see General Muhammadu Buhari dead.

"He is a psychopath, whose obsession has altered his sense of rational analysis of situations whenever he hears the name, Buhari. Unfortunately, he is not God and does not have control of the life of our revered General.

"Fayose should go back home and prepare to defend himself in the case of the massive rigging that led to the stolen mandate he currently enjoys and leave our general‎ alone".

Oh my! When will Governor Ayodele Fayose hands off General Buhari's case? Infact, one is tempted to agree with the APC team that he hired stalkers to monitor him...

Still on General Buhari's visit to the UK, the highly controversial politician has challenged the one-time President to swear by the Holy Quran if he did not visit a London hospital.

Below is a statement he released via his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka,

"I wish they can see spiritually what I am talking about that Buhari, despite the hullabaloo will never be president. I predicted my return as Ekiti State Governor and I am saying it again that Buhari will never rule Nigeria again.

After President Goodluck Jonathan, there will be a young element in his late 50s from the North that will be Nigeria president. I want to liken this revelation to the story of Elijah and Elisha. I am the Elijah while my followers are Elisha."

I owe it a duty to Nigeria and its people to expose the antics of the APC cabal whose only interest is to seize power to further their selfish interests.

"Without doubt, it is obvious that these cabal in the APC are trying so hard to deceive Nigerians on Buhari's health status. That's the reason they have been using photoshoped pictures to defend their lies on Buhari's UK trip.

"First, they used a March 5, 2013 picture, claiming that Buhari was taking a walk in London on Thursday. Later they came up with another poorly cropped picture of Buhari with former British Prime Minister,Tony Blair.

"The same people who lied in September 2012 that they received a gold card invitation to attend the Democratic National Convention in the United States of America are behind the robing of Buhari in the garment of lies and I challenge Buhari to swear by the Holy Quran that he did not visit hospital in the United Kingdom last week.

"However, I want to disappoint this selfish cabal. Buhari is only raising their hope and that hope will be dashed."

APC Campaign Organsiation has accused Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State of hiring people  to stalk it's Presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari in London.

GMB who is reportedly in London for a working visit has been spotted by British Prime Minister, Tony Blair and some Nigerian Governors in the past few days.

Here's a statement released by the  party and signed by Garba Shehu.

"Let it be on record that knowing Governor Fayose's antecedents, we are not leaving anything to chances. ‎The Governor who has published death-wish advertorials on Buhari will stop at nothing.

If anything should happen to General Muhammadu Buhari while in London or anywhere, the authorities over there in the UK and at home should know who to hold responsible." APC wrote.‎

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has raised concerns over the short working visit of the All Progressives Congress party presidential candidate, Major General Muhammadu Buhari to the United Kingdom today.

The highly controversial politician did not only insist that Buhari was flown abroad for medical treatment, he also accused the APC kingpins of concealing his true health status and deceiving the general public.

A Statement from Fayose's Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka reads thus,

"The truth is that Buhari travelled out today to seek medicare in USA. If the APC people are saying otherwise, let them publish the picture of Buhari boarding the plane and granting interview to Aviation Correspondents at the Abuja Airport.

"While I am happy that the APC people that are packaging Buhari finally hearkened to my plea that they should allow him (Buhari) to seek medicare abroad, I must say that it was evil for the APC to have lied that Buhari travelled on a working visit.

"These APC political merchants should say the truth and save Nigeria from the possibility of another Yar'Adua experience. They should tell Nigerians that Buhari is actually sick and lack capacity to rule Nigeria and that they are only packaging him, hoping that he will become incapacitated if he becomes president so that they can take over power by proxy. Like I have maintained, the north should wait till 2019 to produce ayounger, energetic and healthy president of Nigeria."

When will the Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, stop talking and start performing the job he was elected to do by the good people of the state? Why must the controversial governor always want to "put his mouth" in everything that does not remotely concern him or the development of Ekiti State?

Is it a must that the governor must respond to every issue that has no direct relationship with his stewardship as a governor? Since his second coming after he won the governorship election when he defeated Kayode Fayemi of the All Progressives Congress, Fayose has been known to involve himself in mundane issues leading to awkward situations.

With his penchant for speaking on every issue, it appears that Fayose just enjoys listening to his own voice – even when his intervention does not make much sense. Sometimes, I wonder if the governor is running a one-man show in Ekiti.

Otherwise why can't someone in his cabinet caution him and let him know there is work to be done? Why can't someone let him know that his verbal haemorrhage is causing embarrassment to the great people of Ekiti State? Does the governor for once think that by talking people will respect him and his views?

Really, every time Fayose opens his mouth to release his verbal missiles, they cause concern and heat up the polity. Immediately after his election in August, the state was thrown into turmoil when his loyalists were alleged to have beaten up a judge adjudicating in a case that was to determine his eligibility.
Immediately after this, the governor was engaged in a long drawn media war with the opposition he had just defeated over how much the former governor left in the account of Ekiti State. Before the dust of the media war about the state's debt profile could settle, Fayose was embroiled in another war of attrition with civil servants over payment of salaries.

Since then, the governor has been engaged in spats with almost everybody. He makes statements that portray him in uncomplimentary manner. Certainly, the image Fayose is creating in the eyes of the public is not the one expected from a governor.

The position of a governor is the one that should command awe and respect. Why then should Fayose always want to get into a fight all the time? The last time, it was the petrol station of an opponent that was sealed off. At another time, an attempt to impeach the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly led to violence.

While this piece is not in support of any of the parties in Ekiti State, Nigerians are all witnesses to the peaceful tenure of the last governor in the state. Not once did we hear of violence or threat of violence in Ekiti. Must government business be always controversial?

While it is also true that politics can bring disagreement among politicians and political parties, politicians must conduct their business with civility. The likes of Fayose must know that the youths of this country are watching their actions and utterances. They must thus lead by example and conduct their affairs peacefully and with respect for the people they govern.

The governor must not be seen to respond to every issue. If he must, then he should do it through the proper channel. He must make use of the line of communication and respond through his media aides through press conferences or releases that address issues rather than abuse and personal attacks.

A situation where the governor sounds off on every issue, abuses and attacks known and imaginary enemies diminishes his exalted position. It amounts to talking first without thinking. A few weeks ago, the governor took up a political advert in which he attacked the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Muhammadu Buhari.

In the advert, he listed Nigeria's former leaders from the North-West who either died naturally or were killed in military coups and admonished Nigerians not to elect Buhari because he reasoned he might suffer the same fate. The advert, which was in bad taste, was widely condemned by Nigerians. Even his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, also distanced itself from him.

Another source of embarrassment is the governor's constant spats with former president Olusegun Obasanjo. Let's even agree that the governor has a score to settle with the former President, I believe there are ways to engage without resorting to abuse and name-calling that have characterised public discourse.

While I believe Obasanjo to be the cause of our present travails as a nation, his years in power also witnessed so much brigandage that is now causing our country so many traumas. Yet, Fayose must refrain from crying more than the bereaved.

A situation where the governor has turned himself into the spokesperson for President Goodluck Jonathan while neglecting his own duties in Ekiti portrays him as a busybody. I want to advise him to let Jonathan fight his own battles. How does he sleep well at night with all the controversies he brings upon himself and still has time to govern?

I believe there are many issues in Ekiti begging for Fayose's attention. The state needs him to improve their lives not through tokenism or propaganda but through enduring programmes and projects. Sometimes, I wonder if the governor realises he has just four years to make a difference. My advice is for him to thread softly. Enough of talking! It's time to work for Ekiti.

Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose who has been a vocal member of President Goodluck Jonathan's campaign team has reacted to ex President, Olusegun Obasanjo's recent endorsement of
General Muhammadu Buhari.

He has described Obasanjo's support for the ex- Military man as a political somersault and a suicidal mission. He also implored Nigerians to ignore him because of his penchant for deceiving people for his own political gains.

"Leaving President Jonathan and vote for Buhari is like to abandon the road and enter the bush. God forbid we enter the forest which we may not come out for years. How can you follow somebody who because of old age is senile, but being propelled by his followers to fly the plane at all cost. Won't that plane crash?" Fayose added.
