Real Madrid player, Sergio Ramos will not be leaving Madrid or signing a new deal with the club until 2020. The  29-year-old's new deal with the Spanish giants will end in 5 years time.

The Spanish ‎defender brought his wife, Pilar Rubio, and his family to a special event put together by the club.

"I want to stay at this club and enjoy it as long as I can. My heart and my head has always been with Real Madrid. My extension was never a money issue. I have never said I wanted to leave Real Madrid. Money has never been my motivation, my family is. I always wanted to retire here at Real Madrid.  The truth is clear: I never wanted to leave Real Madrid." He said.‎

Real Madrid's manager, Rafael Benitez has affirmed that Sergio Ramos will not be leaving the club.
Ramos has been linked heavily to other clubs over a reported fallout with Real Madrid on wage increment.

The former Liverpool manager said football was a "curious world" and he had "a lot of respect" for United counterpart Louis van Gaal. But asked if he was sure Ramos would stay, the Spaniard said: "For me, 100%. "I insist that it is clear for me and the club, Sergio will be here. He's a key player for us."

‎
Ramos, capped 128 times, has made 445 appearances for Real since joining from Sevilla in 2005.
He is part of the Real squad preparing to face Manchester City in a friendly in Australia on Saturday.‎

Real Madrid centre-back, Sergio Ramos has paid tribute to colleague, Iker Casillas who joins FC Porto next season. Ramos in a tweet posted yesterday also posted link to the video of some of the great times they shared together. The ace goalkeeper bade the club goodbye amid tears yesterday.‎ 

"10 years together and many, many shared moments. A great Captain, thank you, @CasillasWorld #GraciasIker."

There are news that Sergio Ramos has mended things with club president, Florentino Perez and may stay at the club despite several links and speculation of his departure. The Spaniard was pictured hugging Perez after a meeting in which they reportedly settled their differences.

Sergio Ramos expressed his dissatisfaction in his contract fee and pushed for an increase - a move met with strong criticism from club officials and Spanish media. He has since been linked strongly to Manchester United and host of other clubs.
