Ake festival

Do you write? Are you into Photography/Artworks? Here's a chance to get featured in Ake Review - an annual journal by the Ake Arts and Book Festival. The 2016 edition themed 'BENEATH THIS SKIN' revolves on identity, race and individuality. Submission must reflect the theme.
  1. Poetry – a maximum of three poems
  2. Prose – a maximum of 1600 words
  3. Artworks/Photographs – a maximum of 2 works in high-res jpeg
  4. Please include a bio of no longer than 70 words
 Guidelines:
  • All entries must be submitted via email to editor@akefestival.org as attachments with‘AR Submission’ in the subject line.
  • Entries must be original and unpublished
  • Only one submission per person
  • Deadline for entries is Monday 29 August 2016
  • All accepted submissions will be published on www.akereview.org after #AkeFest16
  • Successful creatives will receive 2 copies of Ake Review
