Tottenham Spurs striker, Harry Kane has won the Premier League golden boot for the 2015-16 season. The England international who topped the scoring charts with 25 goals is the first English player to win the Premier League Golden Boot since Kevin Phillips in 1999/2000.  

" I’m really happy to have won it, especially in only my second full season in the Premier League. It's a dream come true. To finish second in the scoring charts last year and follow that up by winning it this year is something I’m very proud of."

"As a striker there aren’t many individual awards you can win and this one shows you’ve had a good season throughout the whole campaign, that you’ve been a consistent performer.
"I know what I’m capable of and I’ve kept my confidence throughout. I have to give a big thanks to the team, the staff and everyone at the club because without them I wouldn’t be able to achieve personal accolades like this." The elated 22 year-old said.

Tottenham's Harry Kane, Assist king, Mesut Ozil and Jamie Vardy have been nominated for the annual Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Player Of The Year Award. Other players who made the shortlist include Leicester City's midfielder and striker, N’Golo Kante and Riyad Mahrez;  and Dmitri Payet. The gong was won last year by Chelsea's  Eden Hazard.

Tottenham striker Harry Kane is confident title defenders, Chelsea FC can finish in the Premier League's top four despite their disastrous season. The Blues who currently sit at the 16th positon on the Premier League standings have not lost more than 6 matches in their first 11 league matches since 1978.
This season alone, the Champions of England have lost 7 times in 12 games. Kane, however, believes that the club is capable of turning their season around.

"Obviously they're not playing very well at the moment but I wouldn't write them off. They were champions last year for a reason. " He said.

Chelsea's Eden Hazard continues to scoop awards in recognition of a his sterling performances at the English Premier League club.

Few weeks after he was adjudged the Premier League's Player of the Year, Eden Hazard has been named Football Writers' Footballer of the Year. Harry Kane and John Terry came third respectively.

He also becomes the first Chelsea footballer to be named footballer of the year after Lampard in 2005.‎
