Eden Hazard has committed his future to Chelsea and ruled out a move to Paris Saint-Germain. The Chelsea playmaker in a lengthy interview with French TV station Telefoot, allayed fears he would be leaving the club in the summer.

“I have a contract until 2020. I don’t want to finish like this. If I have to leave, I must do it like a boss. Like I did in Lille. PSG are not among my projects right now.” The Belgium international said.

Eden Hazard's father, Thierry Hazard has accused Chelsea of forcing him to play through the pain  as he struggles with an on-going hip injury. Hazard, who was named last season’s player of the year has dropped considerably in form and fans have not concealed their displeasure.  The Belgian received backlash from irate fans when he swapped shirts with PSG's Angel Di Maria during half time on Wednesday's Champions League clash.
On his son’s form, Hazard Snr in an interview with Belgian newspaper Le Soir, pointed that his son's injury woes which started when he was kicked by Jamie Vardy at Leicester City last year has been responsible for his slump.
“Eden’s lack of form is due to an injury, an inflammation in the hip, that he’s been carrying now for three or four months. It’s not a bad injury, but when the pain appears, it feels like a stabbing. It’s feels like a knife is stabbed in it.
“He was feeling the pain early in the game [against Leicester] and that’s why he has asked for a substitution. Instead of giving Eden a time to overcome the injury and have a proper rest, they push him to play because they have some important games... So he has no choice... Which player hasn’t had highs of lows in his career? It’s the first time in his professional career that he’s confronted with a difficult period. He’s not machine, as we know.” Thierry defended.
He also refuted rumours that his son wants a move to PSG.
“Eden has never said he wanted to play for PSG. He’s just confirmed that PSG have become a big club and that every player would like to play for clubs of that level. Eden has a contract until 2020. It’s out of question that he’ll leave the club at the moment.”

Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard says Jose Mourinho is right to suggest that he needs to up his game.
Hazard, 24, was the star player for the Premier League champions last season, picking up both the PFA and Football Writers' Association Player of the Year awards.

Chelsea have had a stuttering start to their title defence, however, claiming just four points from their opening four matches. Defeat against Crystal Palace last weekend prompted Chelsea boss Mourinho to single out Hazard for criticism, saying that it should be "a good responsibility" for the Belgian to try to match his form from last season.

Currently on international duty, Hazard has readily accepted Mourinho's assessment.

"It's obvious," he told French sports daily L'Equipe. "You don't need to know too much about football to compare what I did last season and what I did this season. I'm not as good. "It's more of a collective problem than an individual one. We're professionals. We knew this season was going to be more difficult... but within the squad we have the quality to bounce back."

Now in his fourth season in London, Hazard said he hoped Belgium's upcoming games against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Cyprus would have a knock-on effect for his club. "Individually and collectively, we're not up to scratch," the former Lille player said of Chelsea's start to the season.
"Starting with me. "We had a difficult month in August. I hope that the international break will allow me to rediscover my form."

Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho claimed that Belgian, Eden Hazard was a better player than Cristiano Ronaldo last season. ‎Mourinho hinged his claim on the premise that Ronaldo, despite scoring 61 goals in all competitions last season, failed to win any major title with his club.

"I think so," Mourinho told The Guardian. "I don't like players or managers to win individual trophies without the team."
"Last season, yes. In spite of the fact that Ronaldo was fantastic. He was fantastic," Mourinho said.

"He scored an incredible number of goals. I am not saying he is not fantastic. I am just saying that, in my personal view, every football player in the world should understand that a team has to be in front and no titles [are important]."‎
Hazard or Ronaldo may be debatable, but to Mourinho there's no doubt that Messi remains No. 1.
He added: "Football without titles is nothing. Messi won the treble. He won three competitions last year, he reached the Copa America final. He had a fantastic season for him and for his team."‎

Belgium international and Chelsea player, Eden Hazard has been named the Professional Footballers' Association player of the year 2014/15. The 24 year-old's performances for the Blues this season have been exceedingly impressive and he has been largely instrumental to Chelsea's title chase.

An elated Hazard said, "I'm very happy. One day I want to be the best and what I did this season is play very well, Chelsea played very well. I don't know if I deserve to win but it is good for me. It is good, it is better to be voted by the players – they know everything about football. This is good. I'm very happy."

He added, "I continue like I did last season – I try to be the same. I try to score more goals than last season [when he scored 17]. Personally I have played a good season, I have been there in the big games and I scored a lot of important goals, this is why I'm better this season.

"Jose lets me play, we talk together sometimes and when I'm on the pitch I know what I have to do – this is most important. We are almost there to win the league."

Chelsea Manager, Jose Mourinho in an interview with Gary Neville for the Telegraph, revealed the conversation he had with 23 year-old Belgian/Chelsea star, Eden Hazard's dad.

"I had a conversation with his father. His father told me something that I loved. I don't think it's a problem to tell you. He said – 'I have a wonderful son. He is a wonderful father. He is a wonderful husband. I want him to change, because I want him to be a wonderful player. But I don't want him to change a lot. I don't want him to become – and he used the name of two or three players. I just want him to be the same husband, the same father, the same son, with a little but more tenacity, mental aggression, ambition, personal ego. A little bit more. And you are the guy to give it to him.'

Mourinho continued, "We can never transform these fantastic players and men into a competitive animal, a competitive machine. Not even his father wants [that]. We have just to bring him to a different level, working hard in training, which he's doing."

23 year-old Chelsea star, Eden Hazard who has been on a top-top form for his club this season has mentioned the five players better than him in Europe. When asked to rate himself, the Belgian footballer had this to say.

"I'm not a top-five player yet. Maybe I'm close to it, but I still have to work on some aspects. You can only be part of that group if you are decisive in the top games. I start doing that, like I did against Manchester City and Arsenal."

Players better than him. "Who are better than me? The two extra-terrestrials, Ronaldo and Messi, Ibrahimovic, Ribéry and Robben. They make the difference almost every game."

Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas and Samuel Eto'o were never fans of Chelsea FC at some points in their lives, not to talk of dreaming of wearing the colours of The Blues. Below are some anti-Chelsea quotes they spewed few years back. Well, tables do turn. And what do we have today? They are all Chelsea players now (well, Samuel has left); talk about eating back their words!

Eden Hazard: "With all respect to Chelsea, I'd rather join a club with history such as Liverpool or Arsenal".

Samuel Eto'o: "I'd rather sell peanuts in my village of birth, rather than playing in a club as pathetic as Chelsea".

Cesc Fabregas: "If I ever wear a Chelsea shirt, you have permission to kill me"
