Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas has denied rumours making rounds that he is leading a revolt against the club's coach, Jose Mourinho following the Portuguese's treatment of the former team Doctor, Eva Carneiro. Below is a report fromThe Secret Footballer.

"Since that moment [Eva Carneiro], Mourinho’s ego has been hurt and has demanded that he reinstate the presence that he had before. His ego is why he didn’t apologise, when he most certainly should have. What has happened since has been the total and utter abandonment of Mourinho and his philosophy by the players.Mourinho is bang to rights and the players know it, so they are now trying to make their point on the pitch.I have it on the best authority possible that the players have told the manager that they hate the way they play.

They hate the way they have to sit back against inferior opposition, they hate the way they aren’t allowed to express themselves."I’m told that Cesc Fabregas is the leader of that mini-revolt. And as a player, you do things like this when you know you are in the right You try your luck. Why not? It’s your way of saying to the manager 'you can either listen to us, and give the go ahead to change and give us what we want, or we’ll keep serving you up the same old s**t and embarrass you.'

The Spanish footballer however took to his official twitter account to set the records straight.
"I would like to clarify that contrary to a few reports form some online websites, I am extremely happy at Chelsea and have an excellent relationship with the manager. There maybe certain individuals from the outside trying to destabilise this club but I strongly believe that we will bounce back and come good again." The 28 year-old wrote

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has been hit with a driving ban after he was caught speeding at 110mph, exceeding the 50mph speeding limit. The Spanish international who pleaded guilty at the Guildford Magistrates' Court today was banned from driving for 6 months, given six points on his licence, and ordered to pay £2,560.

His barrister, Ben Waidhofer told the court that the ex Arsenal player has learned his lesson.

"He  is genuinely remorseful. He has learned his lesson and wishes to draw a line. This is not somebody who is repeatedly before the court for troubling speed cameras, running red lights, driving without insurance and driving without a licence.
"That doesn't arise in this case. What I can tell you is that this is somebody who will not be doing it again. This not somebody who is persistently breaking road traffic laws. In just under 10 years he has two endorsements on his licence."

Cesc Fabregas has insisted that his love for Arsenal will always remain regardless of the reception he gets from the fans of his former club.
Fabregas who spent 8years at Arsenal before joining Barcelona and then moving on to Chelsea has been tagged by several fans of Arsenal as a traitor for joining their rival club.
He said this over the community shield match that will take place between Chelsea and Arsenal on Sunday at Wembley stadium.

"Whatever it is, it is. The love I have for that club will never change whatever happens and what is the most important is what I have with me are the memories," said Fabregas.

"The rest doesn't matter. I have great memories, love and respect for the club. You will never hear anything bad from me about them. ‎Of course, it is not the most important game but we want to win and compete. It is a big game, a London derby at Wembley in front of all the fans -- it's a nice competition to play in.

"Even if it is a preseason game you still want to win. We are not worried that they might be fresher than us -- they started 10 days before us -- but we are competitors, we will want to win and it will probably be a great game."

Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas haps jumped to the defence of his countryman, Iker Casillas who was heavily criticised by fans after Real Madrid's 2-2 draw at the Bernabeu last weekend.

The 33 year-old ex Arsenal player a midfielder believes the Los Blancos skipper has been unfairly treated by the public despite his years of service to the club.

The Premier League winning footballer told Cadena COPE "I didn't see what happened and I only know what I've been told. I've defended Iker many times and deservedly so because I'm really sorry about it. If I have to I'll do it again without any problem.

"He is a great captain, a great person, a great footballer and a
great friend. There isn't much else to say because you only have to look at what he has done for the national team and Real Madrid."

He added. "You must try and stay strong, concentrate on football and do the best you can. If you analyse it then at times it can be your fault, although sometimes there are other circumstances.

"I think if you're at your best then you won't get whistled at, while at other times maybe you are not at your best or the team has lost. My case is different from Iker's because he has won the public over a million times.

"Things can change overnight in football and you can play in the
Champions League final, save a penalty and become God again.
"One day you are very good, the next day you are very bad, but
in the end it's you who needs to know who you are and how it
is," he noted.‎

As much as he relishes the chance to play alongside his former Barca colleague Lionel Messi at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas would have nothing to do with the latter's move to England.

The Argentine football legend followed Chelsea's official account on Instagram few days back, sparking off rumours that he may be set to join The Blues.

Fabregas has however rubbished claims that he is a mediator in the Chelsea/Messi bid. The Spain international  cleared the air on Spanish radio programme Al Primer Toque on Onda Cero:

"I'm upset that they say that I could be mediating for Messi to come to Chelsea. How can I be talking about contracts... I'm only a footballer.

"He (Messi) will do what makes him happiest. Personally, as his friend, colleague and footballer, if you gave me the chance to play with him again, I would welcome it.

"I don't know Luis Enrique. I do know Leo and I doubt very much that what is being said is happening, because he's a very relaxed guy and I've never seen any of that in the three years we spent together.‎

"Messi is happy at Barca and they are happy with him."

Shortly after Chelsea defeated his former club, Arsenal 2-0, Cesc Fabregas during a post-match interview affirmed that albeit he's in a fantastic club right now, he still holds Arsenal and it's fans in high esteem.

"I have huge respect for Arsenal - they gave me everything when I was little. Without them I wouldn't be here and I wouldn't have won what I have won. I have huge respect and I take it in a positive way. I know they love me and it is all because we were together once.
Sometimes, circumstances mean these things can happen. But I have always said it - I am not scared. They will always be in my heart forever. But this is football, I am in this fantastic football club now playing with great players, a great coach and great fans and I want to win everything. I am hungry and really want to do well for this club. I hope I can make it in the future."

So Jose Mourinho is back 'in the media', doing one of the things he knows how to do best. The Portuguese has described one of his summer signings, Cesc Fabregas as the missing piece of Chelsea's engine. The 27 year-old who moved from Barcelona to Stamford Bridge in a £27million deal scored his first goal for the Blues against Vitesse Arnhem last week.

Mourinho stated, "I see him everywhere. Because he can play everywhere. His best quality is the speed at which he analyses the game and executes. He's very intelligent. And gives you goals. Fabregas is the missing piece of our engine. He has a football brain we need in our team. All the players have a fantastic feeling around Cesc. They really feel that he sees football too fast. It is so rare that he loses the ball or makes a wrong decision. He can accelerate the intensity of the game, or he can reduce it."

The Chelsea Manager also said he was surprised at the ex Arsenal captain's decision to return to English football.

He continued, "I always thought Cesc would stay a Barcelona player. It was him feeling so strongly about coming back to English football, a bit like me. I was in a big club, Real Madrid, and wanted to be back. He was at a big club, Barcelona, and wanted to be back. When we heard that he wanted to come back to London, we knew he was the last one we wanted."

Dear Mourinho, we hope this headline "stays" the same in the coming months.

Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas and Samuel Eto'o were never fans of Chelsea FC at some points in their lives, not to talk of dreaming of wearing the colours of The Blues. Below are some anti-Chelsea quotes they spewed few years back. Well, tables do turn. And what do we have today? They are all Chelsea players now (well, Samuel has left); talk about eating back their words!

Eden Hazard: "With all respect to Chelsea, I'd rather join a club with history such as Liverpool or Arsenal".

Samuel Eto'o: "I'd rather sell peanuts in my village of birth, rather than playing in a club as pathetic as Chelsea".

Cesc Fabregas: "If I ever wear a Chelsea shirt, you have permission to kill me"

Watch your back Fabregas!!!

Well, it's not like Chelsea designed a special jersey for him. Outgoing Barcelona player, Cesc Fabregas who recently completed his medicals for the English Club has picked the vacant jersey at Stamford Bridge i.e No 4. That coincidentally happens to be the Spaniard's favourite jersey number.
